Manchester City goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu is interesting Liverpool.
The Sunday Mirror says Liverpool are one of a number of clubs showing an interest in the 19-year-old stopper.
The report adds that the Reds are at the front of the queue of clubs monitoring Bazunu's situation at the Etihad Stadium.
It has also been claimed that Man City are looking at handing the teenager a new contract, in order to fend off interest from the likes of Liverpool.
Bazunu is currently on loan at League One club Portsmouth, and already has seven Republic of Ireland caps to his name.
