The Canaries are unbeaten under Smith.
"It's [been] a solid start. We look hard to beat and I can't remember Newcastle having many chances. The first ask was to become harder to beat and we have certainly done that," Smith said.
On Tottenham, he said: “I have a lot of respect for Antonio Conte and what he's done in the game.
"We have to make sure that we get a good performance."
