Real Madrid are pursuing Leicester City star Wilfred Ndidi to eventually replace midfielder Casemiro.
The Brazilian defensive midfielder is a vital cog in the Real team, but Los Blancos are planning for the future.
According to Naija, they see Ndidi as a possible successor to Casemiro, or a player who could rotate with the Brazilian for the next couple of seasons.
The 25-year-old Leicester man has also been linked to Manchester United in recent transfer windows.
Ndidi has a contract with Leicester until 2024.
