Ivan Morante opened the scoring for Madrid in the first half, but the hosts drew level twenty minutes from full-time via Pablo Perez, as Castilla picked up a point but may have felt they deserved more.
Late in the second-half, Castilla were reduced to ten men as substitute Mario Martín saw red and went in search of a winner but the match finished in a draw.
