Arsenal whizkid Charlie Patino is tipped to make his Premier League debut this coming week.
The Mirror says Patino, who has previously been compared with Manchester City star Phil Foden, could make his debut appearance for the Gunners this week.
The 18-year-old central midfielder has never played competitively for Mikel Arteta's side, but he could be involved in the north Londoners affair with Sunderland.
Arsenal host the League One side in the quarter-finals of the League Cup, and it appears many of the club's promising youngsters are set to be afforded a rare opportunity.
While the 4-1 away victory over Leeds United was the Gunners' last match until Christmas, they travel to Norwich City on Boxing Day, host Wolves two days later, and then face the arduous task of taking on Manchester City on New Years Day.
And with Arteta likely looking to rest some of his main stars, Patino and many more could be given an opportunity.
Patino was spotted training with the first team alongside fellow youngsters Folarin Balogun, Salah Oulad, and Oma Rekik.
All of those young stars will likely be in the squad, while many could also be handed some much needed minutes.
