
Newcastle United midfielder Sean Longstaff could play against Liverpool in the Premier League on Thursday.
Longstaff made his debut for the Magpies in the Premier League at Anfield in December 2018.
He was not involved against Leicester City last weekend, but manager Eddie Howe confirmed he was available to take on the Reds.
Howe said, per Chronicle Live: "Sean comes back into my thinking for this game.
"He's certainly a very talented individual and a player I really believe in, in terms of his attributes and what he can deliver for the team.
"With the competition, we have for places at that time, he missed out.
"Yes, it was a selection decision."
