Agent Jorge Mendes is pushing Atletico Madrid to put Joao Felix up for sale.

AS says while Atletico coach Diego Simeone has declared he doesn't want to lose the attacker, Mendes believes there's a chance the board would be willing to sell in January.

Felix has battled for a consistent starting place this season and Mendes is in contact with Premier League clubs about a midseason move.

Manchester United have made contact with Mendes, while the Portuguese has also offered the attacker to the new owners of Newcastle.

However for the moment, neither Atletico president Enrique Cerezo nor chief exec Miguel Angel Gil Marin have no intention to sell Felix, particularly as they face a €50m hit on the original €120m they paid two years for him.
