West Ham boss David Moyes hopes he can drive Declan Rice to new levels.
Moyes discussed his England midfielder earlier today.
He said, "I want to keep driving him on. I want him to keep stepping up. I think he's stepped up again. After the Euros, of all the players who played, I think he's one of the players who's stood out.
"He's helped us a Club but hopefully we've helped him as well. We've given him the chance to lead the team and he's taken on a lot of responsibility as well. He's shown a real level of consistency and his standards in the main have been really high."
On two years as Hammers manager, Moyes added: "What makes me most happy is I think there are people are talking about the Football Club more than they have in the past.
"That's mainly down to the players - the young players, the players we've brought in - and we have more international players than we've had in my time at West Ham.
"We've got a support who are enjoying watching the team, which means you're probably doing something right."
