Talks between Real Madrid and Antonio Rudiger are accelerating, according to reports.
The Chelsea defender will become a free agent at the end of this season, and can sign a pre-contract agreement with a foreign club next month.
Rudiger, 28, is seeking one last pay-day and it might come from the Spanish giants.
According to The Guardian, Real are now the heavy favourites to sign Rudiger as a free agent as talks have "progressed at an encouraging pace"
There is no animosity between Rudiger and Chelsea, however, the west London club are not willing to raise their salary offer of £140,000 a week.
Rudiger is seeking around £200,000 a week and the Germany stopper is growing confident he will find that money in Madrid.
PSG and Bayern Munich are also interested in Rudiger.
