Newcastle United have made a bumper cash offer for Benfica striker Darwin Nunez.
Record says Newcastle tabled a €50m bid to Benfica chief Rui Costa for Nunez earlier this season.
The proposal was made during Benfica's Champions League clash with Bayern Munich in October.
However, Rui Costa rejected the bid, insisting Nunez isn't for sale in January.
It was further relayed to Newcastle that if Nunez is to leave in June, it will only be for a €100m-plus bid.
