Leeds United defender Pascal Struijk admits he's favouring committing his international future to Holland.

Struijk also can qualify for Belgium and has fielded calls from Rode Deuvils coach Roberto Martinez.

"For sporting reasons, I don't want to exclude Belgium. But yes, deep down, when I think back to my dreams as a little boy: I prefer to play for the Netherlands," he told Voetbal International.

“Martínez was there early. His approach showed a lot of confidence. Suddenly I had to make a choice that I had not thought about before.

“I don't assume anything, I don't think I'll be called up just like that, there are a lot of good central defenders. But if, for example, the KNVB informs me that they are at least keeping an eye on me; that would be very nice."
