Inter Milan chief Piero Ausilio admits the spending power of Serie A clubs is far weaker than teams in the Premier League.

Ausilio expects Inter to be active in the January market.

He said, "From an economic point of view, we, like all normal clubs, must aim for the stability and continuity of the project. We have to pay salaries on a regular basis. We are in constant contact with the owners, we have to do things well and not just think about a buying market.

"Speaking of system, there are too many differences between these two leagues. On the market we cannot compete, we struggle even with West Ham and Leicester. The system is too far ahead, we have to put in good coaches, good ideas, imagination and recover players who maybe there they do not perform at their best. Here they can be champions. Then we must try to make a stronger system, being less quarrelsome."
