Kota Kinabalu: East Malaysian major distributor Kim Teck Cheong Consolidated Sdn Bhd has donated 3,000 loaves of bread to city police and their families in a festive gesture ahead of the upcoming Chinese New Year.
Its Chief Executive Datuk Dexter Lau handed over the contribution of Gardenia bread to City Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Zaidi Abdullah during a ceremony at city police headquarters here today.
Lau said the contribution was a gesture of appreciation for the police force who keep the public safe especially during the festive season.
"I hope the Chinese New Year celebration this year will forge close rapport between us," said Lau in a statement.
