Southampton will not embark on a spending spree following their takeover.

Sport Republic billionaire Dragan Solak, one of Serbia's wealthiest tycoons, has bought an 80 per cent stake in the club for £200million.

However, the Daily Mail says the new owners won't look at a significant overhaul of Ralph Hasenhuttl's squad as they were attracted to the club because of the way they are already run.

The south coast club have developed a reputation as a club who develops emerging young players.

That model is set to continue under Sport Republic.

Hasenhuttl is keen to add a new goalkeeper and a No 10 to his squad this month.
