Fiorentina are targeting FC Basel striker Arthur Cabral as a replacement for Dusan Vlahovic.
The Serb is set to join Juventus in the coming days.
Sky Italia says an initial €10m bid for Cabral was rejected, but a deal should be done for €14-15m including performance-related bonuses.
Cabral's current contract with Basel only runs to June 2023 and he is ready for the next step up in his career.
The 23-year-old Brazilian made the move from Palmeiras in 2019.
