Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has played down defeat at Getafe on Sunday.
Real kicked off 2022 with a shock loss at their neighbours.
Ancelotti told Il Messaggero: "We lost for a number of reasons: some problems, the return to the field after ten days of rest. But the team is solid. We have a good mix of experience and youth. We won ten games in a row and that gave us a great boost, and then Getafe appeared. I settle it like this: we were still on vacation.
"Real Madrid is the club with capital letters. There is the Real and then there are the others. On a personal level, because of what it has represented in my history, Milan is also the club."
