Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo is confident he'll be fit for Saturday's clash with Aston Villa.

The Portuguese forward, 36, missed the FA Cup win over Villa on Monday due to a hip complaint.

But Ronaldo hopes he will be fit enough to face Villa in the Premier League this weekend.

"I'm good. I just have a little touch but, you know, it's part of my work," Ronaldo told Premier League Productions.

"You know, we have to feel some pain sometimes. It's nothing big and I hope to be good soon.

"Hope so [return for Villa]. We will try on Thursday. I will try to train as normal. Let's see how the body reacts.

"Fingers crossed. I'm confident."
