Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has given his players 24 hours of rest after their draw with Brighton in the Premier League on Tuesday.

The Blues have several key matches coming up, and have already played 15 games since the first of December.

They take on Tottenham in a fierce London derby on Sunday in the Premier League.

According to The Sun, Tuchel gave the players 24 hours of rest, allowing them to recuperate before they are back in training for the Spurs game.

Tuchel will be hoping the rest allows them to rest their tired minds and bodies, and reset as they aim to hold onto third place in the league.
