Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford has suffered a new injury setback.
Bamford has missed 18 of his side's last 19 games in all competitions since damaging his ankle against Newcastle in September, a fortnight after making his debut for England.
Bamford made a dramatic goalscoring return off the bench in December's draw with Brentford but then injured his hamstring celebrating and has been out ever since.
The 28-year-old was close to making a comeback earlier this month. But he suffered a setback in training before the FA Cup clash at West Ham and has now suffered a fresh issue, ruling him out of Saturday's visit of relegation rivals Newcastle.
"Bamford has a new injury at the bottom of his foot," revealed Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa. "He's overcome his muscular problems but now he has a problem at the bottom of his foot."
