Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta admits he's not yet ready to move to St Etienne.

The on-loan Mainz forward is keen to join ASSE, though faces a delay as Palace seek to sign a replacement first.

As such, Mateta is expected to be part of Palace's clash against Brighton on Friday.

The striker struck in their FA Cup win at Millwall yesterday and stated: "Thank you for your support today and see you on Friday for the game against Brighton."

Le 10 Sport says the Brighton match is expected to be Mateta's last for the Eagles.
