Kota Kinabalu: A man in custody for alleged bribery in exchange for Covid-19 vaccination certificates has been remanded for a week, according to a report.

The 31-year-old man, allegedly a middle man for a syndicate, has been remanded until Jan 18 to facilitate the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Agency's investigation into the syndicate and in tracing other suspects.

The man is under investigation for allegedly bribing another RM2,250 for MySejahtera vaccination certificates to be issued to three unvaccinated people.
