Newcastle United have made an attempt for Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette.
Lacazette is off contract in June and talks over a new deal have led to nothing with the France international expecting to leave in June.
TMW says Newcastle have made a move for the striker.
An offer to 2025 has been tabled worth €8m-a-season, with Newcastle willing to cough up to buy Lacazette this month.
However, he has rejected the proposal, insisting he doesn't want to be part of a relagation campaign.
