【News】Senior Citizens Can Now Get Their Pfizer Booster Shot At Several PPV Centers Around Klang Valley

The Ministry of Health has just announced that four integrated PPV centers around Klang Valley will be made available for COVID-19 booster shot walk-ins for senior citizens starting January 19th, namely:


- World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur (daily from 2 PM - 8 PM except for public holidays)

- Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil (daily from 2PM - 8 PM except public holidays)

- Ideal Convention Centre in Shah Alam (daily from 2 PM - 8 PM except for public holidays)

- Sokka Gakkai Hall in Klang (daily from 12 PM - 4 PM except for public holidays)

According to the official announcement, "PPV Offsite in the states of Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, Negri Sembilan, Melaka, Penang, and Sarawak will also implement walk-in vaccination services for senior citizens from January 24," they stated. "Senior citizens who wish to attend by walk-in are requested to have a complete digital vaccination certificate in MySejahtera for the booster vaccination process,".

The COVID-19 Pfizer vaccine booster shot will also be provided for pregnant women and other individuals who contraindications to the AstraZeneca vaccine.


As of today, 40% of the Malaysian adult population, or specifically a total of 9,364,326 individuals above 18 years of age have received their booster shots.
