Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams has won a new contract.
After starting in Thursday's Copa del Rey victory over Barcelona, Athletic winger Williams has been rewarded with a first-team contract after meeting certain targets established in his previous agreement.
Williams' new senior deal includes an improved salary and increase in his transfer release clause.
NSo far the young forward has made 27 appearances and scored three goals for Athletic. His first strikes came recently, netting his first two against Mancha Real in the Copa before grabbing the winner in the Supercopa semi-final against Atlético Madrid.
Nico is the younger brother of Athletic striker Inaki Williams.
