Thomas Tuchel wants to see out his contract with Chelsea.

The German has enjoyed a successful first year with the club, having reached three cup finals, including a Champions League triumph over Manchester City.

However, the former PSG coach concedes that Chelsea do not have a history of longevity when it comes to management.

Tuchel, who is under contract until 2024, said: "I think I have a contract until 2024," said Chelsea head coach Tuchel, ahead of Tuesday's league match at Brighton.

"Let's stay with this and try to stay as long as this contract says.

"History tells us that it's not that easy, but I feel very confident today that I can make it - I don't want to be anywhere else, this is absolutely sure.

"I feel very happy, let's see what happens, but everyone knows you need results, and I'm responsible for creating an atmosphere that gives us the results."
