The Football League won't be investigating Liverpool after the first-leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final clash with Arsenal was postponed last week.
The club was forced to temporarily shut their AXA training centre due to rising numbers of suspected positive covid cases and their request to have the game postponed was approved by the EFL.
Jurgen Klopp said after the FA Cup win over Shrewsbury on Sunday: “We had last week a proper outbreak and it showed up that we had a lot of false positives but the rules are like they are, so all these players who are false positives couldn't play."
According to The Athletic, some clubs complained to the EFL asking for clarity on the situation but fresh reports claim there are no plans to investigate Liverpool, says the Liverpool Echo.
