Brighton centre-half Lars Dendoncker is coming back from his loan spell at St. Johnstone.
The Belgian signed a deal to spend the season at the Scottish club.
However, the defender has only started five games in the league, including two right before the winter break.
According to The Argus, Brighton want to cut his loan short and pursue other options for the 20-year-old.
Dendoncker came through at Club Brugge as a youngster, and has been with the Albion since 2020.
