Dell Technologies has introduced multi-cloud capabilities that provide a uniform experience regardless of where apps and data are stored. Dell also adds additional services and tools to assist developers choose the proper cloud environment while maintaining the security, support, and predictability of Dell infrastructure.

According to a new Forrester Consulting report commissioned by Dell Technologies, 83% of companies have adopted or plan to implement a multi-cloud strategy in the next 12 months. Dell's new services make it easier for businesses to manage, store, and protect data across numerous cloud platforms.
With APEX services, businesses can bring the simplicity and agility of public cloud platforms to the location of their choice, achieving multi-cloud by design rather than default.

APEX Backup Services provides simplified and secure cloud data protection
With data becoming more challenging to protect as it grows across multiple clouds, APEX Backup Services provides end-to-end scalable, secure data protection with centralised monitoring and management for SaaS applications, endpoints and hybrid workloads. This SaaS-based offering can be deployed in minutes and scale on-demand to protect growing workloads. Resilient security capabilities help protect against cyberattacks with instant detection, rapid response and accelerated recovery.
Project Alpine to deliver seamless storage across public clouds
With Project Alpine, Dell will expand its storage portfolio, building on existing data protection cloud capabilities, which secure approximately nine exabytes of customer data in public clouds. Dell's premier block and file storage solutions' software IP will be brought to leading public clouds through this project. Customers will be able to buy storage software as a managed service with their existing cloud credits, benefiting from a uniform storage experience from on-premises to public clouds and the ability to effortlessly share data across multiple clouds.

SUSE Rancher on VxRail enables multi-cluster, multi-cloud Kubernetes administration while allowing clients to choose their preferred cloud orchestration platform.
Dell is expanding its Dell Technologies Developer portal to serve as a one-stop shop for application developers and DevOps teams looking to provide infrastructure as code. The portal will provide continual access to the latest Dell APIs, SDKs, modules and plug-ins.
Dell expands APEX solutions availability
APEX Data Storage Services is expanding to 13 countries across Europe and Asia Pacific, as announced at Dell Technologies World 2021, allowing more organisations to utilise Dell-managed enterprise storage as-a-Service. It's also now available with colocation services through Equinix International Business Exchange™ data centres in the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Australia, eliminating data centre maintenance, providing cloud connection, and simplifying and consolidating Dell billing.
