KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 4 — The enhanced movement control order (EMCO) will be implemented at Felda Keratong 5 in Rompin, Pahang from Thursday until January 19.
National security director-general of the National Security Council Datuk Rodzi Md Saad said the decision was made based on risk assessment by the Health Ministry and the Covid-19 infection trend in the locality concerned.
In a statement, Rodzi said there was no extension or lifting of any existing EMCO in the country today. — Bernama
