Aston Villa are considering a move for Everton left-back Lucas Digne.
The Daily Mail says the France international is wanted by West Ham, Newcastle United and Chelsea.
However, his £128,000 a week wages have been a stumbling block as clubs ponder offers for a player Everton value at £30m.
Villa want experience alongside their relatively young defence and 28-year-old Digne is on their list of options.
They also hope to add a centre-back, winger and midfielder with Brighton's Yves Bissouma one name under discussion.
