Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo has urged young people to take better care of their physical health.

The 36 year-old also recognises the need to be a positive example in this field.

"Health is the most important," said Ronaldo, speaking at the Dubai World Expo. "You need to take care of your body, your mind, in the spiritual sense as well. It's not about cultures or religions, because we are all the same. We need to teach young people how to take care of their bodies, drink enough water, sleep well, exercise, listen to their fathers, because they give good advice.

“I will be 37 soon, but I still play. All because I treat my body well, take care of it. It's not about age, it's about what you give to your body and your mind. I want to tell young people: listen to your fathers, learn, because we are all equal. We are all human - and we, our generation and all other generations, must set an example for the young."
