Kota Kinabalu: Another school Covid-19 cluster has been found this time at SMK Kundasang in Ranau according to an update.
The index patient in the Jalan Bypass Kologon cluster was a 16-year-old female student, a resident at the boarding school, said the update shared by Sabah's spokesman for the crisis, Datuk Masidi Manjun.
She started to exhibit symptoms on Jan 17 before testing positive in a self-test, a result later confirmed by a PCR test.
Close contact screening found six roommates of the index case were positive also.
Meanwhile, Sabah recorded 218 new cases today, 42 more than yesterday.
