Kota Kinabalu: A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a Perodua Viva along Jalan Coastal, here, Sunday.
City Police Chief ACP Mohd Zaidi Abdullah identified the deceased as Hasnorld Hamid, 31.
The 30-year-old Viva and his passengers, aged 12 and 25, were unharmed.
Initial findings showed that the car was heading towards Kg Sembulan Lama from Asia City when the motorcyclist slammed into the car’s rear at about 12.50am.
The motorcyclist was thrown six metres away as a result of the collision.
A medical officer pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene at 1.10am.
