PSG defender Sergio Ramos faces more fitness tests this week.

Marca says Ramos is an injury doubt just 16 days ahead of Paris Saint-Germain's Champions League last 16 first leg against Real Madrid. The centre-back has a calf injury and will have further tests in the coming days.

After Le Parisien reported on Saturday that the Spaniard was forced to leave training early with a physical issue, the club confirmed this on Sunday.

"Sergio Ramos has to rest for a low-grade muscle injury in his right calf that occurred on Thursday during training and will be reassessed in the middle of the week," PSG stated.

Mauricio Pochettino was asked about Ramos too in a press conference, but couldn't say much more.

"We know that with an injury of this kind, you have to follow the evolution on a daily basis, so it is difficult to know how long he will be unavailable for training," the coach said.
