Kota Kinabalu: Four houses and five cars were destroyed in a fire in Kg Suok Batu, Jalan Cyber City, here, Thursday, leaving 11 families comprising 43 people homeless.
The fire victims are currently sheltered at Dewan Kibouvang in Kepayan.
The fire was brought under control by firefighters at 7.06am. They were assisted by Civil Defence Force, Rela and Kepayan UPPM.
Also at the scene was Sabah MCA Chairman Lu Yen Tung and Penampang District Officer Francis Chong.
