Spanish reports suggested that Gil, who is 20, is unhappy at Spurs.
The report indicated the winger was not settled in London, and that he was not happy about his lack of playing time.
Gil has managed 20 appearances this season, but most of them have been as a substitute.
However, Gil has poured cold water over the speculation.
He responded to the report through this Twitter account, adding four question marks and a crying emoji to suggest he felt the speculation was not true.
