Manchester City defender Nathan Ake is on the radar of AC Milan.

Sky Italia says his impressive performances at left-back against Brentford and Arsenal and at centre-back against Swindon has caught the attention of AC Milan.

The Serie A giants are looking to sign a defender this month, with City's Dutchman one of several options they are considering.

Milan chief Paolo Maldini has concerns about the flexibility of their defensive options and regards highly Ake's ability to play at fullback and centre-half.

Ake is in his second season with City after his move from Bournemouth.
