Aston Villa are in advanced negotiations to sign French left back Lucas Digne from Everton.
Sky Sports News suggests that Digne favours a move to the Birmingham-based club, who are managed by Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard.
While Digne had previously indicated that he wanted a move to a Champions League or Europa League side, he is prepared to make the switch to the Villa Park club.
Everton will likely receive a fee of between £20million to £25million for the defender.
Digne has fallen out with Toffees boss Rafa Benitez, having been an ever present in the team last season under Carlo Ancelotti.
