Espanyol director Jose Maria Duran has confirmed Arsenal have enquired about signing striker Raul de Tomas.
But he has stated that he will not be leaving unless the Gunners pay his £62.4million release clause.
Duran said: "Arsenal called for Raúl de Tomás but we didn't even want to talk.
"We won't let him go now, no way.
"His release clause is €75m [£62.4m]."
