KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 5 — Malaysia continued to see an uptick in new Covid-19 infections with 3,270 cases over the past 24 hours compared to 2,842 cases yesterday. 

In a Twitter post, Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the country’s cumulative Covid-19 cases now number 2,773,156 since the pandemic began two years ago.
