Kota Kinabalu: A new Covid-19 cluster with 40 cases has been found involving a Ranau hotel according to an update.
The cluster named "Jalan Kem Bina" involved Hotel Perkasa in Kundasang whose index cluster was an employee, said the update shared by Sabah's spokesman for the crisis, Datuk Masidi Manjun.
The employer was found positive in a symptomatic screening before close contact tracing discovered 39 more positive people.
Meanwhile, Sabah registered 161 new cases today, four fewer than yesterday.
