Tottenham midfielder Lo Celso hands Lyon transfer blow

Tottenham midfielder Giovani Lo Celso has turned down an offer from Olympique Lyon.

Spurs and OL had struck terms for Lo Celso this past week, however the Argentine has rejected the move, says RMC.

Lo Celso communicated his decision to OL on Saturday evening, with RMC running the report this morning.

It's a blow for OL, which see Lo Celso as a replacement for the Newcastle-bound Bruno Guimaraes.

The midfielder also is attracting interest from Villarreal.
