Watford boss Claudio Ranieri says he wants to take a close look at their new signings before introducing them to senior action.
Ranieri was speaking after their FA Cup defeat to Leicester City.
He said: "We bought Samir, (Hassane) Kamara and (Edo) Kayembe just to reinforce the team and have more chances to fight for our goals.
"But I have to train them before I let them play. They just arrived and it's hard to think about letting them play without training.
"Some of them stopped on December 11th and others still earlier. They need to train with their teammates. They trained alone but it's not like doing it with the rest of the group."
