Kota Kinabalu: Filipinos in Sabah yet to get the booster shot are strongly advised to do so without delay. They are also urged to refrain from any gatherings in view of the Omicron variant threat.

“Strictly comply with the SOPs (standard operating procedures) like proper use of face mask, frequent washing of hands, social distancing and unnecessary outings/travel/trip...Ensure that you are fully vaccinated plus booster shot,” Persatuan Kebabayan Sabah (PKS) member Ramon Guerra said.

“Vaccines are still our best defence and proven to be safe, effective and free. Let’s not be agents of transmission and prevent further spread of the virus as more transmission means more mutations,” he added.
