Manchester United are advertising for a 'fan mail reader' to help protect stars from abuse.
Handling the avalanche of letters sent in to the club is one of the tasks the new player care coordinator will face.
Most post will be from adoring fans praising their heroes such as leading goalscorer Cristiano Ronaldo and World Cup-winner Paul Pogba.
But stars can also receive abusive or inappropriate mail that needs to be filtered out.
An advert for the Old Trafford role states the successful candidate for the position will “assist with the administration of player fan mail", reports the Daily Star.
They will also help with office duties such as “filing, photocopying, faxing, receipt of deliveries and postal duties" and “oversee and procure corporate gifting in line with club sponsorship".
The ad stresses the successful candidate must help maintain "first class administrative standards and a high level of confidentiality".
They will also "manage all confidential documentation whilst maintaining database records including passports and visas.
That requires them to be "trustworthy with integrity", "capable of being privy to extremely confidential information without disclosure" and possess a "knowledge and proficiency of foreign languages" at a club packed with international stars.
