Product images of an unnamed smartphone model has been patented by OPPO in its native country. Since renders of the Find X5 was leaked a few weeks ago, we can only expect this to either be the design of the Reno8 or Reno8 Pro’s.

The first thing I noticed is the huge island at the back that houses a triple-camera setup and an LED flash. Other than that, all four edges of the smartphone are rounded and we have ourselves a punch-hole camera cutout on the top left corner of the display.

Contrary to how it looks in the renders, the camera island actually doesn’t look too bad in real life (based on the concept created by Dutch graphic designer, Jermaine Smit).
In addition, we also get a look into what colours the phone will be offered in - a blue-ish gradient colour, silver, and black.

Details about the OPPO Reno8 series has not be revealed by the company itself but we expect it to launch during the second half of the year. Stay tuned as we’ll be sure to update you on any additional information that pops up.
