Fatimah, who worked as a former Assistant District Unity Officer at the Melaka State Department of National Unity and Integration (JPNIN) received an RM320 bribe from a person named Mohd. Yusri Jaafar, in which the transaction was made 5th and 6th November 2017 respectively, at Malayan Banking Berhad in Kuala Lumpur and Maybank Islamic Berhad in the Melaka Tengah district.

Imagine accepting a couple of hundred ringgits worth of bribes only to be caught and ordered to pay a fine that's tenfold of that amount.
