Brentford mifielder Mads Bidstrup is confident his development will continue on-loan with FC Nordsjaelland.

The Dane made the move last week.

He said, "I have been looking purposefully for the place where I could develop best now and here as a football player, and I have been lucky to have many opportunities at hand. But I had no doubt that FCN was the best of them and the right one for me.

"The environment, the style of play, the staff of FCN is really something that has drawn me. I'm insanely looking forward to getting started and I'm going to give everything I have every single day on the pitch for this club and this team until the summer and then we'll have to see what happens from there.

"I am here on loan, and I am very happy for Brentford, but I do not want to rule anything out in advance. The best place for me is the place I want to be. And then we have to see where it is after summer, when we have hopefully completed a good half season together for FC Nordsjaelland."
