Based on reports for new SOPs, all travellers who have been fully vaccinated, or recently contracted Covid-19, would no longer need to quarantine themselves, upon entering the country.

Releasing a statement yesterday (Jan 12th), Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin noted that travellers would need to show proof that they have been fully vaccinated, or that they were Covid-19 positive 11 to 60 days prior.

Either a printed or digital laboratory report would need to be presented.

He also stated that those who had been hospitalised for the virus would need to show a Fit to Travel letter from where they were treated.

All documents should be brought along when travelling and regardless of anything, all travellers MUST be screened with the RT-PCR test. Should one be tested positive, permission to enter the country would be denied.

Whereas for those who have not completed their vaccination, a mandatory 7-day quarantine at designated centres would be implemented.
