Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson insists they can be happy with their 2-2 draw at Chelsea.

Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah had the visitors 2-0 ahead before Mateo Kovacic and Christian Pulisic hit back for Chelsea.

Henderson said, "It is a probably a good result for them (Manchester City) but for us there will be disappointment we didn't play as well as we liked.

"Chelsea are a good team and we gave it everything. We are disappointed with the two goals close to half time. The lads showed heart in defending and nearly got the reward towards the end on the counter attack.

"We can take positives as well. There was space on the counter attack when we won the ball back, we know what Mo, Sadio and Diogo can do in the final third and they punished them.

"Sometimes that can happen in football (two goals before half-time) - we reacted the right way in the second half, we dug in, defended well as a team and on another day we might have found a winner.

"Stamford Bridge is always a difficult point to come so we take a point and move on."
